1. We have heard learned Counsel on both sides. The Petitioner has obtained an order of affiliation on 3.5.99 on the Shivaji University. The Respondents earlier stated that the Medical Health University has come into being on 3.6.98 and an order of affiliation from the said University is required.
2. Thereafter, notice was issued to the University. The said University was asked to file an affidavit.
3. Now the Health University has filed affidavit stating that the said University has recommended for the grant of affiliation for the academic session 1999 – 2000 and the said recommendations are pending with the Government. Therefore, it will be for the Government to pass appropriate orders in accordance with the relevant Rules and Regulations of the said Act. The Government is required to pass an appropriate order within a period of one month from today. The special leave petition is disposed of ac-cordingly.
