Quantum of grant paid under the grant-in-aid code – Whether there was discrimination meted out to the approved private schools in the matter of the quantum of grant paid under the grant-in-aid code to the private primary schools vis-a-vis the private secondary schools? – Petitioner allowed to raise the question before the High Court.
Shri M.N. Shroff learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to approach the High Court only on the question relating to the alleged hostile discrimination meted out to the approved private schools in the matter of the quantum of grant paid under the grant-in-aid code to the private primary schools vis-a-vis the private secondary schools. we accordingly permit the petitioner to withdraw this petition. The Writ Petition is dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner to raise before the High Court in a separate petition the only question referred to above. We do not express any opinion on the merits of the said question. The interim orders passed in this case, if any, are vacated. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
